MINIMUM WAGE

by

Bob FINGERMAN

Which is something like sayin': "Drawing comix for a porno mag stinks, therefore I STINK but, what the fuck, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do".

And if you're thinking that you couldn't care less, you're probably wrong.

In this almost autobiographic work (he works for PENTHOUSE COMIX every now & then), you'll find all the topics n'characters that make your life a tiny, sick, boring thingy: nervous breakdowns, little troubles big enough to blow up your fuse, dopey and/or looney friends and so on... but you'll also find all those flavoury moments that make the beforementioned 'thingy' a little blue-striped, green-dotted, yellow elephant with 151 wings on its back.

With a cartoonistic style (reminiscent of Dave Cooper's work) Fingerman will put you right in the middle of "YOUR" life by presenting someone else's life: job interviews, seaside vacations, comic conventions or else... rest assured he won't be bothered by strong or 'spicy' aspects (in his ever lasting words: "...but I think if you're going to do a realistic story about a young couple, then sex is going to rear its ugly head. I'm not doing a story about the Amish.").

All the 'rehersals' at PENTHOUSE COMIX cannot be wasted.

NAUGHTY BITS

by

Roberta GREGORY

Come on, take your chances... have a date with Bitchy Bitch, you'll surely understand what the meaning of life is... NOT!

Selfish, careless, evil, naive and très stupid... everything she does goes wrong, but it's not a case of bad luck: she deserves it.

She spends most of her daytime in a boring office, with a hateful 'chief' and collegues ranging from the plain obnoxious to the bigot one... and with this kind of 'life neighbors' Bitchy can't do anything else than exploding in all her dement rage.

Bitchy Bitch represents (in XXL) most of our bad aspects so it's difficult for the reader not to identify a little in her... this causes a schizofrenic reaction: half the face laughs while the other half realises what the other half is laughing about, and cries (which half is which depends on your writing hand).

Warning: Roberta Gregory's rough, almost childish kind of drawing can result 'strange' at the 1st glance, but it's extremely functional to the stories told.
