PRESS RELEASE
The use of the sampler in a creative way has always been the distinctive line in Meatheads and Cop Shoot Cop, the bands from which Teho Teardo (Matera) and Jim Coleman (Phylr) come from.
While first samplers were used to create tension and noise, now they are used to realize songs which are rich in melodies and have innovative harmonic solutions. However not only samplers! In fact Here push over the limits imposed by machines, placing side by side the use of true instruments to the samplers: drums, bass, guitars, strings, horns.
The passages of the album are in fact a mixture of technology filtered by man.

BROOKLYN BANK is recorded in New York and it's felt. It's felt above all thousands influences that converge in the Big Apple, many different cultures that introduce every element that can be found in this album. Here doesn't have anything to do with fashion and trends of the moment and is clearly a downbeat work.

The voices are of Teho and Jim mainly, with the support of Carolyn Honeychild, Lydia Lunch (well known artist, musician, American writer) and Scott McCloud (Girls Against Boys) that lends its unmistakable hoarse voice in some passages.
BROOKLYN BANK has been recorded with the aid of other friends musicians: Doug Henderson and David Sardy (producers of Cop Shoot Cop, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Helmet), Bill Bronson (Swans), Martin Atkins (Ministry, PIL, Killing Joke, Pigface), Rock Savage (Barkmarket), Jim Colarusso (Elvis Presley), David Oulmet (Motherhead Bug, Foetus).
